The SACAT Registry will assist you in managing your matter and provide you with general information about SACAT processes.

The Registry staff are called Tribunal Case Officers.

You cannot speak directly to the Tribunal Member hearing your matter, so any questions or information you have must be provided to the Registry.

  • Answering questions about SACAT processes
  • Providing you with information and support about how to lodge an application
  • Telling you about application fees and applying for a waiver or postponement of payment
  • Giving you information about legal organisations that may be able to assist you
  • Providing legal advice
  • Telling you whether you should submit an application or apply for an internal review
  • Telling you how to word your application, what orders to seek or what to say at a hearing
  • Predicting likely outcomes of your matter
  • Explaining how you should follow SACAT directions or orders
